The coldest season of the year is not an impediment to enjoying the charms of Marbella: it's just a matter of changing your mind. The activities that during the summer are characterized by a greater influx of people become perfect winter activities to discover another side of the city.

Ideas to enjoy Marbella in winter

Between the months of December and February, temperatures in Marbella remain stable at around 16-19ºC, with little rainfall and a warm Mediterranean light that invites you to go outdoors. Not surprisingly, many of the most interesting winter activities in Marbella are still outdoors. Here are some examples of how to enjoy a winter's day out in Marbella while making the most of the city's potential.

  • A morning of golf with charm

Marbella's top golf clubs don't close their doors in the low season. In fact, this is a popular destination for golf enthusiasts, and an opportunity to continue playing the sport in beautiful light and temperature conditions.

  • Shopping in the most exclusive shops

Luxury shopping is a benchmark of Marbella's life. Internationally renowned brands such as Fendi, Chanel, Dior and Loewe are represented in the city. A stroll along the centrally located Calle Ribera in Puerto Banús is the perfect way to catch up on the trends for the coming season.

  • A relaxing stroll by the sea

One of the advantages of winter in Marbella is that the crowds of the summer season disappear. This allows you to enjoy the seafront promenades at a more leisurely pace. From Puerto Bajadilla to Puerto Banús there is a route about 15 km long that runs along the entire coastline. The route can be done on foot or by renting a bicycle or electric scooter. It is also a regular meeting point for runners and other sportsmen and women, and a particularly romantic spot in the evening.

  • Gourmet dinners and shows

Gastronomic tours through the old town of Marbella allow you to take a guided tour of the flavors of the Costa del Sol. There are companies that organize visits to the city's most exclusive establishments with tastings of wines and regional dishes. Another option is a dinner show. These dinner shows can be presented with a wide variety of themes, from flamenco nights at establishments such as The Farm to the innovative shows at Olivia Valere.
