New restaurants in Marbella: Pimpi and FIVE GUYS
The emblematic El Pimpi in Malaga city and the popular Five Guys hamburger restaurant in the United States are opening for the first time in Marbella.
Although they are two different proposals, they have something in common: everyone knows them. With El Pimpi and Five Guys, the restaurant offer in Marbella adds two new options to spice up your life.
A classic of Malaga that lands in Puente Romano
El Pimpi is a traditional restaurant with more than half a century of experience. It opened its doors in Malaga city in 1971, under the management of Paco Campos and Pepe Cobos, and now makes the leap to Marbella with Pablo Gonzalo in charge of the project.
The new trendy restaurant in Marbella, which is expected to start operating before the summer, will be located in the Gran Lujo Puente Romano hotel, next to other prestigious establishments such as Coya, Nobu or Cipriani. It is a five-star environment for an emblematic establishment in which the new management has announced its intention to continue to maintain, in this new venture, the hallmarks that have made it a benchmark of gastronomy on the Costa del Sol.
New burger bar: Marbella now has Obama's favorite burgers
The offer of restaurants in Marbella is also expanding for those looking for something more informal, but they need to maintain that genuine touch. Recently, the American franchise Five Guys has opened a new burger restaurant at one of the entrances to the Puerto Banús marina, also taking advantage of the good reception they have received in Malaga.
Their hamburgers became especially famous after Barack Obama (then president) visited one of their establishments to place an order in person. The franchise now arrives at Avda. Julio Iglesias in Puerto Banús with an extensive menu of fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, and shakes with a genuine touch of American fast food.
